What is another name for a cold-blooded animal?

I am doing a project on the respiratory rate of goldfish depeneding on the water temperature. For part of the lab write up I need to research cold-blooded animals. My teacher wants us to include another name for cold-blooded animals. Any information about cold-blooded animals will help. Thanks!

What is another name for a cold-blooded animal?
Ectothermic means the animal is dependent on the outside environment for heat.

Heterothermic means the animal's body temp. fluctuates as opposed to the constant temp. of a homeotherm.

Poikilothermy - This refers to creatures whose internal temperatures vary, often matching the ambient temperature of the immediate environment
