What is the name of the tribe where each member is born female?

I think there are two such tribes... one of them being in New Guinea or Indonesia. I am having a lot of trouble finding anything on the web.

or do they come in from different tribes and mate with them and then return to their own tribe, which seems pretty stupid considering that his tribe wont gain anything from it.

Reply:I have heard of this myself. I know there is a condition called guevodoces that was discovered in the Dominican Republic originally... and I've heard that there are tribes where all members have the condition. Not sure of the tribe names tho...
Reply:If that is true, it could be caused by exposure to radiation. They would have to go a distance in order to find a male that wasn't exposed. I don't know if it is true but it was a rumor in the military.
