Bracero Program ... but not the 'great depression'

The Bracero Program, (from the Spanish word brazo, meaning arm), was a temporary contract labor program initiated by an August 1942 exchange of diplomatic notes between the United States and Mexico.

Reply:Sparks_ mex got it, and before the great depression mexicans went back and forward working in different types of low skill jobs, like rail roads, they were hired by special agencies, they were not consider illegal aliens but after the great depression.
